Las Cruces Biological Station and Wilson Botanical Garden is an unique center for protection, research and education of tropical forests, offers lodging services in comfortable rooms between the gardens and the protected forest, walks of natural history and dining room. It is a biological corridor that allows a great experience for birdwatching, amphibians, mammals and other species for nature lovers throughout the year. Las Cruces is at 1200 m.a.s.l. in the Fila Cruces, South Pacific of Costa Rica. Due to its location, temperatures are cool, varying from 21-26 ° C during the day and 15-21 ° C at night. The average rainfall is about 4000 mm per year, with September and October being the rainiest months. The dry season runs from January to March and the rainy season from May to November.
